MacOS X can run applications designed for previous versions of MacOS. But
to provide that compatibility MacOS must maintain the look of the old MacOS.
Most notably these applications can not be minimized like native applications.

of web browsers available for MacOS X. Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser
ships with MacOS X, but reportedly although there is no option to not install
IE with MacOS X it can be easily uninstalled just by dragging its folder
to the trash.
